Quite simply the best combination of 6×9 lids and speakers you can get for any price.

The lids are high quality Vivid Black with true metal mesh “CVO Style” grills. Just bolt on your factory hardware and go.

The speakers are Polk’s brand new Neodymium Magnet ultra high end 6×9 water proof marine speakers. Not only do they sound great and have amazing efficiency and power handling, but they’re super light weight. No broken bag lid hardware, ripped retainers, or wasted space. These speakers are a fraction of the size and weight of anything else in their quality range. Fully waterproof, they’ve got the power handling of speakers costing twice as much that aren’t even water proof (we’ve tested them side by side). If you know speakers, check out the quality crossover components in the pictures. You won’t find that level on any other motorcycle speaker.

Like most of our products, these were developed because no one else sold anything that met our standards. Unlike others these are:

Attractive “CVO Style” Metal Mesh Grills, not cheap plastic
Fits right – 2014 Hardware needs clearance
Takes up very little space inside – compact adapters that make use of the Neo Magnet Polks to hug the top of the bag.
Premum, high power handling speakers (don’t fall for “Peak” power handling numbers. These are rated 150 RMS continuous.
Fit true 6×9 Speakers, not 5×7/6×8 (BIG difference in size and output)

You can only get these through So Cal Cycle Sound. We’ve had special adapters made that don’t take up a lot of space, but still allow true 6×9 speakers.

You could spend more buying these lids and speakers separately, but then you’d have to make the modifications necessary to get them to fit right. These are ready to go out of the box. We’ve done all the experimenting for you.

Other Motorcycle Stereo specialty shops will charge hundreds of dollars more for lids with far cheaper speakers. They have to, as they paid a lot of money to source their own brand of speaker. That’s more profitable for them, but don’t think for a minute that they’ve got the kind of skills or development budget of Polk Audio. So Cal Cycle Sound knows the best bang for your buck, and these are it.

FOUR TIMES THE BASS OF A 6×9!

We have been installing Harley Touring systems at our Southern California shop to rave reviews. One of the secrets to our bikes is the custom built saddlebag woofers. Add two woofers to a typical Harley touring system (with a good stereo, amp and front speakers), and you’ll have better sound than ANY bike you can host a concert at bike night.

When setup correctly this setup will take ALL of the bass off the main speakers, allowing the entire system to play FAR louder and cleaner than anything else on the market AND you can’t even tell the bag is different from stock until you open the lid!!

Although a lot of stereo guys will install a woofer the easy way, please realize it takes a lot of work to do this setup CORRECTLY. We use jigs to align everything perfectly, attach the backing plate with marine adhesive (others don’t even use a backing plate), and protect the woofer with a custom made speaker grill. This setup will last through years of abuse. Install a woofer in your bag like most shops do and you’ll be lucky to get one season before the whole setup starts falling apart.

Your bag will be completely weather proof and will be provided with a quick release for the speaker wiring. Bags can be used and removed as usual.

These are Vivid Black stock type bags, that you can bolt your existing hardware to, or we can provide lids and an extra bag if you want to add bags to a bike that doesn’t have them. All Harley or other aftermarket hardware will fit.
